Duration: 11 weeks
Schedule/Format: Hybrid. In-person for the first six weeks, Monday-Thursday, 9am-1pm and Wednesday 6-8pm. Four weeks online, Monday-Wednesday, 9am-11am. Fourth week is Monday and Tuesday from 9-11a with a 30 minute skills test scheduled sometime during the week (days vary). Following the 4 weeks of online training, two 8-hour in-person clinical days are required. Candidates must participate in full CrossPurpose program sequence (6 months).

Jobs Starting At: $20/hr
Minimum Requirements: Pass background check, 6th grade math/reading, minimal criminal violations, up-to-date vaccinations, TB test. Live within 1 hour of a Cross Purpose location.
Physical Needs / Demands: Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to support, push, and pull 50 pounds.
Best-Fit Learner Profile: Interested in medical field. Likes working other medical professionals to provide excellent patient care. Ability to assist patients with daily activities (hygiene, exercise, recreation, etc.)

Becoming a CNA is an entry into a high wage career in the healthcare industry. It can even be a great launching point into clinical nursing. CrossPurpose training includes additional clinical rotations in a hospital setting and direct hiring opportunities into hospitals or long-term care facilities.
